Listening to Great Players is essential to developing  a great performer.

Composers to Listen to recordings of the following composers in addition to your own solo repertoire:  Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Telemann, JS Bach,  Taffanel, Gaubert, Chaminade, Prokofiev, Debussy

YouTube now has most wonderful performances by the best flutists. 

Rule for youtube:  It needs to be an adult performer on a real concert stage.

Repairs Any flute bought from Ms. Bobbi should be taken to the Music & Arts

Round Rock store to be sent to her in Houston.  Please ask for your flute to

be shipped specifically to Ms. Bobbi.  Same for your yearly cleanings. Minor

repairs can also be taken to the Music & Arts Round Rock store for in town

repairs.

Piccolo Recommendations: only students that have proper tone

(including vibrato) and technique throughout all major scales are

recommended to play piccolo.  Not everyone is built for this instrument and it is not "just like playing the flute."  Extra practice per day is required in addition to flute, never instead of the flute.
